Abstract
The term ontology, which is an important philosophical view, has passed into Turkish from the French word “ontologie”. Ontology method is a method used to make sense and interpret works of art. The ontological analysis method ensures that the poem is examined under certain layers and handled with all its structures. This method, systematized by Ingarden and Hartmann, has been discussed in detail in Ismail Tunalı's Sanat Ontolojisi. In his work, Tunalı said that the work of art is a whole of ontic layers, and these layers are handled as four layers sound layers, meaning layers, character layers and destiny layer. This method, which reveals the value of literary text in terms of art, is generally applied to the genre of poetry by literature researchers. In this study, the poem by Bekir Çobanzade, one of the important names of the Crimean literature, “Tuvğan Til”, will be analyzed with the method of ontological analysis.
