Publication Ethics

The international peer-reviewed journal “Actual Problems of the Present” adheres to the principles of academic honesty, transparency, and integrity.

The aim of the journal’s ethical policy is to ensure the reliability and quality of published materials and to maintain mutual respect and professionalism among authors, reviewers, and editors.

 

The policy is based on the standards of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

 

Authors’ Responsibilities

Authors bear full responsibility for the accuracy and originality of their research.

All citations and references must be properly acknowledged.

Submitting the same manuscript to multiple journals simultaneously is strictly prohibited.

Any conflict of interest must be disclosed to the editorial office.

Plagiarism, falsification, and data manipulation are unacceptable.

 

Editorial Responsibilities

The editorial board evaluates all submissions fairly and exclusively on their scientific merit.

Acceptance or rejection decisions are made objectively and independently.

The confidentiality of the peer-review process is strictly maintained.

In cases of ethical misconduct (plagiarism, data falsification, duplicate publication), the journal reserves the right to retract the article and issue a formal notice.

 

Reviewers’ Responsibilities

Reviewers must provide objective, constructive, and unbiased evaluations.

All information obtained during the review process is strictly confidential.

Reviewers must decline to assess a manuscript if it lies outside their expertise or if a conflict of interest exists.

 

Handling of Ethical Violations

The editorial board investigates all allegations of ethical violations carefully.

If misconduct is confirmed, the following actions may be taken:

correction or revision of the article;

retraction of the publication;

notification of relevant institutions or funding bodies.
