Peer Review Process

All manuscripts submitted to the journal “Actual Problems of the Present” undergo a two-stage expert evaluation under the double-blind peer review model.

This process ensures objectivity, academic rigor, and the overall quality of publications.

Initial Screening

After submission, each manuscript is checked by the editorial team for:

thematic relevance to the journal’s scope;

compliance with the Author Guidelines;

plagiarism verification through StrikePlagiarism.com.

Only manuscripts meeting these criteria proceed to scientific review.

Scientific Review

Each article is evaluated by two independent reviewers;

The double-blind system guarantees anonymity for both authors and reviewers;

Reviewers assess originality, methodology, theoretical contribution, and practical value;

The review period usually does not exceed 60 days.

Editorial Decision

Based on reviewers’ feedback, the editorial board may decide to:

accept the manuscript for publication;

request revisions;

reject the submission.

Authors are officially notified of the decision and, if necessary, invited to resubmit the revised version.

Confidentiality and Impartiality

The review process is conducted in strict confidentiality.

The editorial board does not disclose personal data or alter reviewers’ opinions.

Professional ethics and mutual respect are maintained throughout.

Objective

The peer review process aims to enhance the quality of published research, provide constructive academic feedback, and strengthen the journal’s international credibility.
