Archiving Policy
The international peer-reviewed journal “Actual Problems of the Present” is committed to ensuring the long-term preservation and accessibility of all published materials through a comprehensive digital archiving policy.
The goal is to guarantee the integrity and permanence of the journal’s content, regardless of technical or institutional changes.
Archiving Systems and Infrastructure
All issues and articles are preserved across multiple independent systems:
- PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN) – an international preservation service for journals using Open Journal Systems (OJS), ensuring automatic backup and content integrity.
- Bolashaq Academy Library – a local institutional repository that stores all journal articles and metadata for additional security and accessibility.
- Crossref DOI Registration – each article is assigned a unique Digital Object Identifier (DOI) to guarantee permanent linking and long-term retrievability.
- Scilit (MDPI) – the journal articles are indexed in the international Scilit database via the Crossref system.
Access and Security
- All publications are freely available in Open Access format and linked via persistent DOIs;
- In case of temporary unavailability of the main website, articles remain accessible through PKP PN or the Bolashaq Repository;
- Archived copies include full-text PDFs, metadata (authors, DOI, keywords, abstracts), and publication history.
The Archiving Policy aims to:
- prevent the loss of valuable scientific information;
- ensure the continuity and reliability of the journal’s operations;
- provide long-term academic access to published research.
Through sustainable digital preservation, the journal contributes to the protection of scientific heritage and to the global trust in scholarly communication.
